It's Been A Year!

It's been a year after my last post. It's been a year after getting married. Yet, there has not been changes to my life ever since then.

Year 2011 has not really been so good to me so far. Perhaps, it's been better than last year, yet, I have not attained my resolutions.

Today, is a bad bad day~ :(

小黑猫与牛奶

If any of you have watched Summer Desire 泡沫之夏 recently, you would have heard of this song.

Two weeks ago, a stray cat in my neighborhood gave birth to two kittens, one is in beige and the other one is in black. Then, the mother passed away. Very soon, the beige kitten was adopted as it is very nice. The black kitten was homeless. It is very hungry and does not know how to feed itself. Thus, we decided to feed it. I went to Sunshine to buy my very First milk bottle, not for my child, but for the kitten.

Some kind residents placed the kitten in a pot, covered with clothes. There is also one cruel Indian boy, who bullied the kitten, covered the kitten with sand and treated as if it is his toy.

We would go to feed it when we are free. Few days later, the kitten was not there. I was so sad, as my dear told me, perhaps, the kitten is dead.

One day, while reaching my door, we heard the kitten meowing. Upon searching, we found it near the staircase. My neighbour has adopted the kitten. I was so happy and we continue feeding it. It is very cute, though sometimes noisy. It would roam around in my house, and I would chase it away as I do not want it to getting used coming into the house. When you are leaving your house, it would usually follows you to the lift, and going back to its house after you left.

My dear even suggested that we should give it a name. So, I decided to name it 小黑, as it is black.

Yesterday, my neighbour decided to set it free, thinking that it is big enough to take care of itself. She placed it at downstairs.

I got a shock of my life today, upon knowing that it is dead. How did it die? You must be wondering.

That cruel Indian boy, as mentioned before, threw the kitten from Level 4. And, it died. I'm so sad. How can a young boy did such thing to an animal?

Something is missing

I'm back!

Today, went to Ah Ma's house. Ah Ma left us while I was on my vacation to Perth. I could not even make it to pay her my last respect. Frankly, I cannot feel the loss that much as I was not here at the moment she left. Until today, when I went to Ah Ma's house. She's no longer there. Only then, I knew that I started to miss her. She's not there, lying on the couch while watching the television. Neither is she there lying on the bed nor standing at the door bidding farewell to us. It's kind of hard for me to believe that, only after a week, she's gone.

She's the greatest grandma who takes good care of my hubby when he's young, who's the greatest cook that made the best dried Hokkien noodle paste for us during our study in KL. Ah Ma, you will be missed. Though you're only my grandma-in-law, the bond that we have which was developed over the years, will be sealed with me forever.

Life, is very fragile. Since Year 2009, my maternal grandma left, then, early this year, my paternal grandpa-in-law also. Now, it's Ah Ma. The demise of loved ones is really heart-aching.

Day 6

We had our breakfast in Kamuela Villa. The breakfast is being served in our lunch.

Later, we went to Kuta Square again. I cannot recall how many times have I been to Kuta Square, but it's just like our second home in Bali.

This is the first sunset that we managed to catch in Kuta Beach, Bali. We missed those in Tanah Lot and Uluwatu as the weather was very bad back then.

We had our dinner at the Bubba Gump & Shrimp Co. We tried their signature dishes, the Giant Onion Rings and stuffed shrimps.

Whenever you flip to this, means you require waiter or waitress assistance.

Day 7

This is the last night in Bali. We had the famous pizza for our dinner. It's very huge though.

This day, we have to bid adieu to the most wonderful and fantastic hotel I have ever stayed in - Melia Bali. Then,we headed to the Museum cum Monument in Bali. Bali is such a wonderful art centre. They made these wonderful pieces of art couple of years back.

Later, we had Babi Guling as our lunch. Oh Gosh, I really do not how to savour this dish. This is the worst lunch I had during my entire holiday in Bali.

It's time for relaxing. We checked the Kamuela Villa after lunch. It's great villa, the services from the staff are very great.

At night, we had our dinner at the Wong Solo restaurant. We were too hungry and did not manage to catch any shots when the food is being served. I'm proud to present to you the empty plates. Hehe...

U-Turn

Emo-ing..

Today, I received a very irresponsible call from AMD. I was told that they received advice from their HQ that, the job posting to Beijing has been can canceled. So, there is an extra headcount for the job. I was hired to fill the vacancy for the job initially. In other words, I'm jobless!

They offered me another position, being a fixed assets accountant. I'm not interested in it, doing depreciation calculation, capex and so on. So, I asked them, so, what am I supposed to do as I have already tendered my resignation? They suggested that I should go back and discuss with my management. I'm really speechless.

Spoke to my superior just now. Luckily, she is very understanding. She will talk to the BIG Boss tomorrow.

And thanks to those KPC friends around me. They spreaded the news faster than Bloomberg and CNN. I have been receiving many SMSes and messages asking when I'm going to AMD. Haiz.... Please stop asking me this question. I'm really pissed off....

A Turning Point

Today, I made a tough decision in my life which requires me a lot of consideration and hesitation. I have just tendered my resignation and will be leaving Moores Rowland soon. My last day of service in Moores Rowland would be 14th October 2010. I gave a very short notice and would need to compensate my current employer on that. Luckily, my new employer is willing to pay me on that. But, there is another side of the coin. I would need to sign an employment bond of 18 months.

Moores Rowland, is a place that gave me a lot memories. Be it laughter, cries, excitement and joy. I have made a few very close friends here. We are so attached to each other, and have been sharing all our ups and downs over the past five years. I gotta miss everyone here, and those who have left. Frankly, Moores Rowland is really a happy working place. Though the workload could be very heavy, but we have very helpful colleagues and friends.

May, you have been a very good senior, supervisor and assistant manager. You are the best mentor throughout my working life here. Thanks, for your guidance, be it work related or personal. You are as if the my "big sister" in the firm over the five years, and you will forever be.

Lay, you came in one week later after I joined MR. We travelled for the first time to KL for an internal audit assignment. We have been chatting non-stop for five hours. Since then, we shared everything in our lives together. Though you are in Singapore more, though we are apart, our hearts will be close to each other.

Soon, can't remember since when we started to call you this name. You and I, are the one who have known each other for the longest period. I think it was like 15 years ago. We used to go to school on the same school bus. It's a miracle that we met each other in Moores Rowland 15 years later. We have shared a lot of memories together from days in CDK to days in MR.

Siew Yee, aka Chicky Wong. She is a music talent who likes chicken very much, especially chicken wings. Every time I see a chicken, it reminds me of you. You and Tze Chin have helped me a lot for my wedding slide show. You guys have done a great job and I really appreciate that. Congratulations for being promoted as senior. I'm sure you will be a good senior.

Hui Yin, we are getting closer to each other after you were transferred from tax department. Since then, we have been chatting non-stop with Lay and Soon on the way to and from office. Our car is always filled with laughter and giggles. Looking forward to be colleague with you soon ya. Good luck ya!

Tze Chin, you are the pioneer. You are the one who left us the earliest. Though we have been apart for so many years, but our friendship remains. There are still plenty of topics for us to chat non-stop whenever we meet up.

Ee Ping, you are the only guy who have been very close with us over the years. Perhaps, it is due to we are being promoted during the same time, and thus we tend to share many things together.

Truly, I gotta miss you guys madly!

Wonderful Day 4

We went to Tanjong Benua on the fourth day. This is a place for various kinds of water sports. You can see people diving, snorkeling, having a ride on a banana boat, ski boat and flying fishes. They are fun but dangerous as well. We saw one tourist sprained his elbow when the flying fish he was flying with turned upside-down. Luckily he is on life jacket.

We were transferred to turtle island by a glass bottom boat, where you are able to see everything underneath the boat. Guess what we saw? Seaweeds, seaweeds and more seaweeds, with very little of fishes.

We had our lunch at the Ulam Restaurant. We were served with a fried fish, honey marinated chicken and some ulam.

After lunch, we checked in Melia Bali Villa & Spa Resort Hotel. It's like a heaven on earth! We booked for a garden view room initially. But, we were too fortunate to be given a lagoon access room without incurring any additional charges. We paid USD 143 for a USD 265 worth of room.

In the evening, we went to Uluwatu. Too bad the Sun was very lazy and sleepy. So, we did not manage to catch the glimpse of sunset.

"Cak...Cak...Cak..." Whenever I hear this, it reminds me of the Kecak Dance that we watched in Uluwatu. It's much more nicer than the Barong and Keris Dance. We spent the whole night watching the dance as we watched from the sky is bright till it turns dark.

At night, we had dinner at the famous Jimbaran Bay. The food is very nice. We had a very romantic dinner as it rains halfway while we were having our dinner. We had a great experience having our dinner at Jimbaran Bay where our fish is being stolen while we were busy shifting the food into the shop when it rains.

We started our day by visiting the Taman Ayun Temple, which means a beautiful garden temple. It is a state temple during the Royal Mengwi Dynasty.

Then, we visited the Ulun Danu Temple which is located by the lakeside of Beratan Lake. This temple is a combination of Hinduism and Buddhism. This temple is being built by the lakeside, but looks like it is floating on the lake.

We had our lunch at the Mentari Restaurant. The food is so so. There are especially two dishes you must try, which are the Fish Satay and the Fried Banana Fritters with Vanilla sauce. It's very tasty.

Later, we went for shopping at the Candi Kuning market. Those hawkers are really cut throat hawkers, especially if you are not locals. We paid a lot for the merchandise purchased though we had already bargain the price of goods till 50% off. My heart is aching.. Sob Sob..

Our next stop is the Monkey Forest. The monkeys are very tame. They would sit there quietly waiting to be fed.

Exciting Trip in Bali (Day 2)

We started of our Day 2 with the Barong & Keris Dance. It's kinda boring though. I suggested that one can skip this dance if you don't have ample time. I could hardly understand the dance if we are not furnished with the English translation.

Later, we visited the Village of Celuk, and introduced to the printing of Batik. It's freaking expensive, which easily costs you approximately RM90 for a Batik shirt. We were later brought to the Silver-making factory and Painting centre.

On the way to Kintamani, we passed by the Tengalalang, aka Rice Terrace. The scenery is very nice.

This is Mount Batur, which is located in Kintamani. As informed by our tour guide, Yande, this Mount Batur is in fact still an active volcano. However, it has been sleeping since Year 2000. We had our lunch at the Puncak Gunung Sari. The food is nice, while the view of the restaurant is spectacular.

Our next stop is at the Besakih Temple, which is also known as the Mother Temple. There are many temples of various sizes within this area. The temples are all made from the volcano rocks, which is black in colour.

We have to pay the local tour guide for IDR100,000 to bring us around the temple. Our tour guide is not allowed to show us the way. Tho local guide that guided us a university student. His explanations may not be very good, but he is helpful to capture photos for us. At the end of the tour, he asked for tips.

"How much tips do you want to give me?"
"Huh? I have to pay you tips? Okay, IDR20,000 then."
"So little, I'm not working here full time. Can you pay me more?"
"I don't have small notes with me. How much do you want then?"
"IDR50,000."
"#!?"

This is the worst tour guide that I have ever met with.

Our last stop is at the Pura Tirta Empul, which is also known as the Holy Spring Water Temple. The spring water can be used for various purposes, from healing to bathing the deceased.

We had our dinner at the famous Dirty Duck. The crispy duck is extremely nice and crispy. Too bad that my dear does not know how to enjoy it, and I ended up having two servings by myself.

Day 1 From Bali

On 13th September 2010, we departed from Penang and embarked on our honeymoon trip to Bali.

We paid IDR180,000 for the food ordered above. A bit costly though, I guess it could be the environment. The live band is performing very well. I like the atmosphere. There is another Made Warung in Kuta, and we did manage to taste it on the second last day in Bali.

We later checked in our hotel- Kuta Lagoon Resort and Pool Villas at 9pm.

Our Parents' Health

Let's pray hard that everyone is healthy, especially our parents. As people grow older, sickness tends to attack us, be it any kind of sicknesses.

Today, went to see the doctor again. He is now suspecting another syndrome, which is Myasthenia Gravis. He then suggested that mum had her blood test again to check whether the results for Guillain Bare Syndrome is positive or not. Anyway, he did confirm that my mum would recover eventually. It's a matter of time.

Such a coincidence, I met Choo Sean's parents in PAH. I immediately rang her up and was informed that her dad had a growth in his nose. He is awaiting the results from the ENT specialist. Hopefully, it's not harmful.

And yesterday, May told me that her father was admitted to hospital for an eye operation. He had a retina detachment.

And before my mum was sick, Tze Chin's mother has been suffering a spinal pain near her neck area. She has seen so many specialist around and now pending decision making whether to go ahead for operation or not.

Life is so short. Or maybe we are getting older, so do our parents, thus, sicknesses and diseases are everywhere to attack us.

Let's stay optimistic and pray hard that everyone will recover soon. Hopefully, my prayer would be answered.

My Very First Lappy

Hurray, I finally got my very first lappy few weeks ago during PC Fair. So So happy!! At first, I was considering buying a Dell laptop, but instead finally got myself a Asus laptop. As this model is kinda slim and light. And it comes with i5 processor. So, it's much cheaper and lighter compared to Dell. And I'm officially poorer by RM3k.

I just love it so much!!

My mum is sick

My mum is sick, due to the side effect of H1N1 vaccination. Vaccination isn't it supposed to protect us from contracting certain sickness? But, if there were side effect attached to it, shouldn't it not to be introduced to the public?

Symptoms:
Difficulty in swallowing and drinking
Hoarseness of voice

At first, she went to see an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist, he diagnosed her of having Vocal Cord Palsy. He then referred her to see a neurosurgeon. She then had her MRI and CT Scan of neck. Luckily, the reports came out to be normal. She is then referred to another neurology specialist. She is now suspected with Guillian Bare syndrome, where only 1-2 of every 100,000 - 200,000 would be infected.

Anyway, we are going back to do some tests this Wednesday, and pray God that everything would be fine. I hope it was just a mere viral infection.

So, do not take any vaccination unless it is proven with no adverse side effects.

Anyway, there's no better reason for not doing so in this week, as I'm on leave.

Wedding entails a lot of work and pressure. It is totally not that easy at all. A lot of things are to be planned and done, just for that two BIG days, ie Wedding Dinner & Wedding day.

I had pre-wedding blues prior to my wedding, due to the heavy workload I had, yet I have to prepare for my wedding.

I got this checklist from the website and find it quite useful, for which I have further edited and customised, and hence would like to share with my fellow friends who are preparing for their wedding:
10 – 12 MONTHS BEFORE:

- Set your wedding date. Pick a few dates, just in case your desired venues are not available
- For date picking, you may consider this place in Penang, which is quite famous among the locals 金吊桶, Tel:04-2271655
- Discuss with parents and future in-laws on the style & size of wedding ceremony
- Book a date with the ROM and the ceremony venue

- Submit forms for R.O.M.

6 – 10 MONTHS BEFORE:

- Select the bridal boutique, followed by the bridal gowns and suits
- Shop for bridal accessories like bridal shoes, shirts for the groom and jewellery
- Have your studio / outdoor wedding photo shooting session
- More about preparation for photo shooting
- Draft your guest list
- Source for reception venues that suit your taste and budget
- Confirm and book your venues if you haven’t done so
- Choose and buy wedding rings, order engraving

3 – 6 MONTHS BEFORE:

- Confirm your tentative guest list
- Work on the final arrangements’ programs for wedding dinner, i.e. entertainment
- I engaged Starzband, Tel:012-4204971 (Edwin) as the entertainer of the night, and I am extremely satisfied with it
- Choose your favours, i.e. wedding cakes
- I got mine from Juat Khoon Pastry Centre, Tel:2632858 (Mr Foo)
- He is very kind to give a mock wedding cake for cake cutting ceremony which is nicer than those provided by the restaurant
- Final confirmation on wedding venues
- Arrange wedding transportation
- Arrange out-of-town guest accommodations
- Engage the photographers / videographers for the day
- I appointed Alex Tan as my photographer, and I'm astonished at way he captured all those wonderful moments. He can be contacted at 012-4037172
- Select your bridesmaids, best man, groomsmen, ring bearer, etc. Inform them about their duties.
- Help mothers of the bride and groom to choose their dresses

2 – 3 MONTHS BEFORE:

- Print you wedding cards, as most caterers provided you with the cards without the inlets and envelopes
- I got mine printed by Andy, Tel: 012-4238852
- He offered a much cheaper compared to those printers out there
- Reconfirm menu details. Remember to make arrangements for guests who are vegetarian or guest who takes halal food.
- Mail wedding cards
- Finalize your transport and music arrangements.

1 MONTH BEFORE:

- Prepare payment envelopes / ang pow for fees and gratuities; or gifts for your wedding party. Eg. Your attendants, relatives etc.
- Have a final fitting at the bridal boutique. Ensure your bridal gowns and bridesmaids’ dresses will be ready on time.
- Finalise your floral arrangements, i.e. hand bouquet for the bride, corsages for the groom, bestman and bridesmaid during wedding day; hand corsages for the bridesmaids during wedding day; corsages for VIPs during the dinner
- Ask relatives and friends to help at the wedding and reception.
- Buy your guest book
- Arrange for the supply of beer, wine or liquor for the wedding dinner, should you need one

2 – 3 WEEKS BEFORE:

- Confirm dinner attendants

- Finalize seating arrangement for dinner
- Remind florist to arrange for bridal bouquet and corsages to be sent to your place early or arrange for pick-up one day before your wedding
- Submit the final guest count to the caterer / hotel/ restaurant
- Arrange your head table seating.
- Have a facial and hair mask

1 WEEK BEFORE:

- Have your rehearsal (if applicable)
- You may want to double check on the auspicious hour and have a run- through of the actual day customary formalities
- One last fitting of your bridal gowns to ensure the size fits as there can sometimes be drastic weight loss due to nervousness or franticness as the big day approaches
- Have a briefing with bridesmaids, best man and ushers to finalize duties assigned
- Book a relaxing massage or spa for the two of you to soothe away jitters and stress you have built up over the months
- Rest and eat well, drink lots of water so you’ll be absolutely fresh for the big day

1 DAY AHEAD:

- Pamper yourself with manicure and pedicure
- Perhaps, the groom may also have his manicure done, as hundreds would be shaking his hands on that big day
- Pack things to take to the wedding site
- Relax and sleep early

DAY OF THE WEDDING:

- Take a good breakfast.
- Have your hair and makeup done.
- Have your bridesmaid/ bestman to help in giving out your gratuities such as ang pow on your wedding day while you enjoy your wedding day without fussing over the small stuff..
- Enjoy the day

AFTER THE WEDDING:

- Tie up all the loose ends, i.e. settle any outstanding payments
- Send a token of gratitude to those who have lent you a hand in this big occasion

* My wedding did not follow the traditional Chinese cultural customs, and hence the checklist is not comprehensive enough if you are to abide by the traditional customs.

It's been ages since I last updated my blog. Has been very busy with work and preparing for my BIG day for the past few weeks. Finally, it's over! I'm truly relieved for that and absolutely feel so happy and contented that all the hard effort that myself and hubby had put in finally paid for.

Punctured Tyre

I was on my way back from Prai to the office. Upon reaching Jelutong Expressway, we (Siew Yee & myself) heard a weird sound. It's kinda loud that at first I thought that there was a helicopter flying just above my car. But, both of us have no sight of the helicopter. Only then I realised that my car tyre was punctured. Gosh!! It is damaged badly. Luckily that the car doesn't skid. I immediately called up my dear for my rescue. Thanks to my dear and my colleague for their prompt rescue.. How lucky we were..

This is the worst situation I have ever had with my car.... :(

Streched to the fullest

I've been stretched to the fullest. I really do not know how much stress can I take any further. I'm under due pressure for work. My workload has been like a tonne of it that never ends. We are shorthanded, and we are downsized to only 10 staff, compared with 20 staff previously. Many of the colleagues are leaving, I doubt if we can handle so many jobs with the current manpower. Everyone of us are trying very hard to cope with the workload, everyone is down with uncountable pressure. We have been working for almost 10 hours a day, five days a week, plus a bonus of couple of hours on Saturday. Gosh!! How much more time do I left for myself?

My wedding day is just around the corner. There are so much things to be done. How I wish God could give me 24 hours more a day, coupled with energy and strength. Everyday, I came home with a deadly body, an exhausted skeleton, both mentally and physically. Pimples keep popping up one by one. A new one joined in the party daily. I do not want to be a "pimple-face" bride. But, my hormones are driving me crazy with all the external factors.

Emma's First Barkday

It was Emma's 1st Barkday on 11th March 2010! I totally have no idea where I can head for to buy her a birthday cake. In the end, I bought a cheese cake for her from Bread History. We celebrated her birthday for her as if she knows that it was her birthday.

She is no longer as adorable as previously she was. She is a young girl now. And the good thing is, she is getting smarter nowadays. She longer pee pee and poo poo in the house anymore. And, the best thing is, she understands the command "In". That's great, isn't it?

Two weeks before, I went to perm my hair. Most of my friends said I look better with curls, as it's not so dull, while some said I'm not good in maintaining the curls. The curls look so nice right after the perm. I like the waviness of that.

It's been ages since I last updated my blog, was very busy and exhausted lately. As it's the peak period for our audit firm, we have to work till late night daily. Furthermore, we are short handed as many staff have tendered their resignations, I just reach home from a farewell dinner in Kim Steamboat. Today, it's Han Lieu's last day with us. Last week, it was Tian Hong, and a week before that, it was Yian. On average, one colleague left us weekly. Hopefully, we can survive through this peak period.

My Photo Shooting

Many friends of mine are getting married either this year or next year, with some are planning for a blissful wedding. So am I. It's gotta be a wedding fever again. There are really dozens of things to be done prior to this BIG day. Last month, I had my gowns picking and photo shooting. It was terribly tiring. Many things needed to be done before photo shooting, such as: -

- Shopping for bridal shoes for the bride and groom.

- Shopping for shirts for the groom.

- Hunting for ampoules, fake lashes, nude bra and body foundation for the bride. I got my ampoules from a shop in I-Avenue at a very cheap price, like 10 bottles for RM20, for which the Bridal Studio(BS) is selling at approximately RM35 per bottle. Fake lashes can be obtained from Beauty Impact at about RM15 for 10 pairs for which BS is selling at approximately RM25 per pair. I got my body foundation from the BS and still have plenty of them leftover. If anyone of you needed body foundation, you are welcomed to contact me.

- Pampering the bride with manicure and pedicure as well as having nails art to be done.

- Have enough of sleep, pamper yourself with facial and hair treatment, and visit your hair stylist for a hair cut a week before the photo shooting,

- Bring along a few facial sponges for make-up if you have sensitive skin to avoid having breakouts after the photo shooting.

- A friend of mine, Phaik Wan, had suggested me drinking plenty of Barley drinks a week before photo shooting as your skin would be more radiant. I guess it helps too!

- Finally, bring along any memorable items or gifts along for the photo shooting!

I got to view my photos a week after the shooting., the photos were just nice. Guess the photographers are in the midst of designing the photos now. I'm waiting to be contacted to view the designed photos in April.

After photo shooting, there are couple of things to be done before I can head for a good night sleep:-
- To remove every single make up off my face with make-up remover and have a good soothing facial right after that to pamper it

- Apply conditioner first on my hair to ease the tangles, before washing off with shampoo. I also apply hair treatment onto my hair to soothe the hair for the styling products it has to bear with earlier.

- Finally, I'm ready to board the bus to my Dreamland!!

This Special day of the day has been assigned to be spent with my loved ones, my dear and of coz' my family. My dear treated me to a buffet lunch in the newly opened Eastin Hotel. The food is nice, that's my opinion. I like the dessert most, as they are just too lovely. Ate till I'm bloated. Keke..

Later, spent the rest of the day dating with my dear before joining my family members for dinner in Kim Gary. I've got Kim Gary card, and was entitled to 50% discount for the meals, to the maximum of 6 pax. It's just nice, 6 of us- myself, my dear, my mum, parents-in-law and Yung. We ate a lot too, and the bill came out to be less than hundred bucks! Fantastic, isn't it?

I was older by one year old. And my birthday wishes are...shhrr~~ gotta keep it as secret, to make sure that it will come true.. Keke...

What I did last Christmas

Last Christmas, I received this cute door hanger from my god sister. He is here to wish everyone a merry and blessed Christmas, a bit belated though. Coz' I'm too lazy to write up any post lately.

On Christmas eve, I was asked to make some cupcakes for mum. She wanted to serve them for her Christmas Party in ward. So, my silent night was spent at home, baking cupcakes and decorating them too. It's indeed a truly, silent night for me.. Hehe...

Just came back from Ipoh today to attend the funeral of my grandfather-in-law. He left this world peacefully on Monday. However, he is very lucky to have so many children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren to be with him before he left. May he lives in the other 'world' happily in eternity.

Just now, I received a mail from United Kingdom. I was so happy, as I have been expecting this mail for the past one month. Finally, the postman delivered it to my house. It's my ACCA Certificate!

Time really flies, it's the last day of the year!

The last two days of my 2009 were spent for stock takes. I have a very awesome experience this year. Yesterday, I went to a feed mill and flour mill factory. The feed and flour were placed in silos. We have to climb up the silos in order to measure the amount of the stock. The height of the silo is at 7-storey tall. Gosh! My legs seem not to be mine. I got height phobia!!

And, today, I went to a fishery cold room. The temperature of the cold room is at minus 20 degree Celsius. My nose and ears are freezing. It's worse than the winter that I had in Vancouver before. Even the pen that I was using, the ink totally cannot come out. I

Truthfully, this year really passed by very fast. Hopefully, next year would be a more fruitful year. And, may everyone has a blessed new year!!!

My Second Project

This is my second cross stitch project for my entire life. This is specially made for my god sister. Well, I took almost 3 months to complete it. I bought this in Sungai Wang while shopping with my god sister and started doing it end of September. I officially completed it just two hours ago. I feel so contented having completed this project. It's just too lovely. And, this piece of cloth is now on its way being framed by my neighbour. Hehe.

Connie, here's a glimpse of the project. The first picture was taken last night, using Lumix TZ7, while the second one was captured using Canon Ixus 50 just now. See the differences?

Garlic Fried Spaghetti

Ingredients:

Quantity at own preferences
Spaghetti
A clove of garlic
Onions
Ham and sausages
Mixed vegetables

1. Bring spaghetti to boil in a pot of water with a pinch of salt and some oil. When cooked, drain the spaghetti under running tap water and drain off any excess water. Leave aside.

2. Cut ham and sausages into cubes. You may replace ham with luncheon meat. Fry the ham and sausages in a frying pan until it turns golden brown. You may add in some butter and black pepper for frying to enhance the aroma of the ham and sausages. Set aside.

4. Chop a clove of garlic and onions finely. Fry the chopped garlic and onion until it turns golden, add in mixed vegetables. Add in chicken / and beef granules, a pinch of salt and LP sauce. Continue frying until the mixed vegetables is cooked. Then, add in the spaghetti. Fold in the garlic, onions and mixed vegetables in the spaghetti.

5. Dish out the spaghetti on a serving plate. Serve the ham and sausages on the spaghetti. Sprinkle some mixed herbs on top of the dish.

6. Tala! The garlic fried spaghetti is ready to be served.

Today, we had this as lunch. However, the spaghetti turned out to be a bit oily and not salty enough. Gotta work harder next time.

Yesterday, we brought Emma to Teluk Kumbar for a swim. She was so afraid of the wave initially. Everytime, when there are waves sweeping through, she ran towards the shore. However, she managed to overcome it eventually. And, she really enjoyed swimming and playing with water! I just discovered that Emma has a new hobby - collecting leaves by the shore. She likes to collect leaves that were floating by the sea and bring them to the shore. She's indeed a new MPPP worker.

By the time we reached home, she got so exhausted.. So do I...

Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Upon gaining my three years of working experience after having passed my CFP examinations, finally I managed to apply for my CFP membership. I am now a CFP professional. I feel so happy. However, I have yet to actually put this into practice, except to the extent to myself, as I'm not working in a financial planning consulting firm. However, I'm glad that I'm exposed to some areas of financial planning, such as taxation planning coz' I'm working in an audit firm.

Well, every coin has two sides of it. I'm happy having obtained the CFP membership, yet I'm a bit sad too, as I have to fork out RM400 for membership fees annually, not to take into account those fees paid for CE courses. There gotta be a hole in my pocket soon. ^_^

Two weeks leave ended

Gosh, my two weeks leave is coming to the end soon. I still have one more day to enjoy it (tomorrow). Well, these two weeks are indeed very enjoyable and tiring for me.

Firstly, I hang out with Siew preparing for the Mooncake Festival. Just realised that I do not have any pictures on that. Then, I was busy preparing for my ROM.

Next, I went to KL to visit my god-family. We went to Genting. Guess what we did in Genting? Bowling!! and Singing!! Gosh... I also donated a few bucks to Uncle Lim Foundation. Sob Sob...

And, that's the end of my holiday and I'm on my way back to Penang by Aeroline.

I no longer have a boyfriend

With effect from 27th September 2009, I no longer have a boyfriend. Today, it is supposed to be my 7th Anniversary with my boyfriend, yet, it ended HE is no longer my boyfriend anymore. It marks the beginning of another chapter of life- HE becomes my husband. And, we shall be starting a new phase of life together from now onwards.

First Step of Getting Married

1. Get the marriage registration form from the National Registration Department (I/C Office)

2. Fill in the form, affix your photograph and handed back to the department for them to verify the details filled in.

3. Head to any Commissioner for Oaths and make the statutory declaration.
For Penangites, you can go to King Street. There are a couple of Commissioner for Oaths in that area. I find Ms Goh, from 22, King Street is a rather nice lady.

4. Then, submit the form, photocopies of the groom's and bride's Identity Card and Birth Certificate, the witnesses' Identity Card (one each for the groom and the bride) to the respective Registration office or Society.
For your information, if you are a Penangite and your residential address is located in Daerah Barat Daya, you can have your wedding solemnised in Than Siang Temple and the National Registration Department in Balik Pulau only. Whereas if any of the groom or bride is residing in Daerah Timur Laut, then you can have your wedding solemnised in National Registration Department in Georgetown, Penang Chinese Town Hall, Che Hoon Khor Moral Uplifting Society and etc.

5. Wait for your chosen date to arrive, and sign the "Contract of Life" in front of friends and relatives. And, there ends your "single" life....

A bunch of buddies hang out to celebrate Tze Chin's belated birthday cum Penang One Day Trip. We started off having breakfast in Sungai Tiram. Our first 'pitt stop' was the infamous Snake Temple.

Later, we went downtown for Kuan Yin Temple which is also known as Temple of Goddess of Mercy, if I'm not wrong. Correct me if I am. We also scrolled along Little India to Khoo Kongsi.

Frankly, though I'm a Penangite, this is the first time I have ever been to Khoo Kongsi. A bit shameful of that, isn't it? After Khoo Kongsi, we went to Penang Road to have Cendol and Laksa to fill up our hunger pangs. Gosh, we have been sweating profusely. Thereafter, we headed to somewhere not so hot.

It's Toy Museum. We spent many hours there saying " Cheese" and filling up our memory cards with lots of toy figurines. Hehe...They were just too cute and you can't resist from snapping them with your cameras and cell phones.

My Mummy's Birthday

Cameron Trip 2009-Part 1

I went to Cameron Highlands last weekends with my fellow friends. It was a happy and enjoyable trip. Even wondered-why it is stated as Part 1? Coz' I'm going to Cameron Highlands again end of the year with my dear and family.

We left Penang at 7 am and headed to Ipoh for breakfast. We went to FuShan Dim Sum house. Gosh, we waited for almost and hour in order to grab a vacant table. We really enjoyed the dim sum there. Thereafter, I managed to fulfill my crave for the egg pudding in Tin Jun. Hehe.. I have always craved for the Egg Pudding and Wan Tao Long in Ipoh.

We reached Cameron at about noon and checked in the apartment. Such a coincidence, we checked in Desa Anthurium, the apartment which I've residing since I started to go for Family Trip with my dear.

It was a relaxing trip for me. I like the cooling weather there. It's like a natural air-conditioner, for which it won't send shivers down your spine at all.

Will be going to Cameron Next Week

I will be going to Cameron next weekends to unwind my mind after couple of months of hard work. This time, I'll be going with my fellow friends and colleagues. I miss the dim sum in Ipoh. The last time that I took dim sum in Ipoh was like 2 years ago with May and Darrel, while on our way attending trainings in KL.

We gotta leave Penang quite early that day, so that we can make it in time to reach Ipoh and thereafter to Cameron. But, before my Cameron trip, I gotta (maybe) go to Taiping for an outstation audit. Hopefully, everything would turn out smoothly.

Tee Chong, my TARC mate from KL came to Penang last weekend, just to have some durians in Balik Pulau. Isn't that awesome? She also dropped to visit us and we managed to go for breakfast together and chit chat around. She stayed in G-Hotel. The room is so luxurious.

Why relationship among human beings can be so complicated??

Life is miserable for me lately, I mean working life. I'm so tired of it, but still, I have to live with it. Hopefully the peak period will end soon.

My nightmare started last Friday. I knew it was a busy day for all of us. When I'm busy, I knew it's hard for me to control my temper. Frankly, I seldom lose temper on friends. Usually, I would lose my temper especially to my mum and my dear, as they are the most intimate human being to me on earth who is willing to bear with me. Anyhow, last Friday, when I spoke to one of my colleagues, perhaps my tone was not that good at that point of time. Gosh! You can't imagine how busy we were as we have follow up the work of the rest, working non-stop to clear the pile of workloads. Damn it, that particular staff she was not considerate at all and she was so mad at me due to the way I spoke to her on the phone. She shouted at me when she's back in the office. I didn't even utter a word. But she even remembered how I spoke to her on phone till now.

Never knew that human being can be so scary. To me, it's a small matter. I totally forgotten about it on Monday. To me, even though I was very mad at you, usually, my anger would subside after a day or two. But, when I try to speak to her on Monday, she ignored me totally, as if I'm talking to a wall, or someone who is deaf and dumb. Gosh, she does not even have the basic courtesy to respect others. I'm not chatting with you, I'm on formal matters with you.

I have always believe that, working in a firm where most of the staff are young is good, as office politics would be minimal. You know, fresh blood, they are new to the working life and they don't tend to play with politics. It proves me all wrong today. I'm so disappointed.

Anyhow, I'm so glad that ever since I started to work, I get to know a bunch of true friends, who are sincere to me. In JB Lau, I have Joanne, Soo Huei and Li Lin. They are always there for me when I'm in need while working there. We still hang out together every now and then.

Luckily, in my current firm, I have LayLay, MayMay, SoonSoon, SiewYee, TzeChin, EePing and Tian Siang. Else, my working life would be doomed. I always believe that, if you are true and sincere to others, in return, your friends would treat you from the bottom of their hearts. But, no! To others, you are merely colleagues to them. You are not part of their chapters of life! I really cannot judge who are real to you and who are just doing the gimmick... I'm lost... Even you've been very close to someone for three years or more, it would be so hurt when you knew that, you are not part of his or her circle of friends.

I'm so down today, having experienced all these.....

Daphne's Wedding

It was my best mate-Daphne's wedding yesterday. On Saturday night, we went over to Daphne's house for her wedding eve's dinner. We had a discussion on what we plan to do the next day-the wedding day when the groom's brothers are coming over.

On the wedding day itself, we had lots of fun together. Luckily the groom's brothers, they are quite sporting, and thus, we managed to carry out our games smoothly despite being given a cold shoulder by the cameraman. Haha..

During the wedding dinner itself, we also had lots of fun. Pey Ling presented two songs for Daphne. Daphne-she's among the very first mate of us getting married. All of us were so happy and excited and we really had a great day!

It was her wedding day yesterday and it's her birthday today! I really hope that this would be the most memorable day for her! Wishing her all the best always with love and joy...

Most Exhausted Day in 2009

Today is the most exhausted day since I started to work. Seems like my whole body is being drained off energy. There are only three of us in the office to cope with the workloads of 12 people. Gosh! We are indeed superwomen! Most of our colleagues are either on study leave or they are out of the office for field audit. Since early morning, I've been rushing to send out draft accounts, doing the photostatting, distributing accounts etc. At the end of the day, even my legs were so tired, as if I've been out for whole day shopping. Luckily, thanks God that the other colleagues from the group nect door they do offer to help up.

We went to Steamboat House, at the junction of Kek Chuan Road and Macalister Road, to celebrate the farewell for both of them. They have been with us since more than two years ago, for sure, they'll be missed. I really envy them , as they are leaving to further their degree courses in th UK. How I wish I could have the chance to study in overseas, but they are just too costly for me.

Today, when I checked my Hotmail, I read this email I got from Siew. It was very touching. I have teary eyes having read this story.

動人心弦的小男孩 (Little Boy Touches Hearts)

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back.
我在「塔杰」商店閒逛時，看到收銀員將一些錢退還給小男孩。

The boy couldn ' t have been more than 5 or 6 years old.

這男孩不過5、6歲。

The Cashier said, ' I ' m sorry, but you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll. '
收銀員說：『抱歉！你買這娃娃的錢不夠。』

Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ' ' Granny,
are you sure I don ' t have enough money? ' '

小男孩轉向他旁邊的老婦人：

「奶奶！妳也認為我的錢不嗎？」

The old lady replied: ' ' You know that you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear. ' '

老婦人回道：「親愛的！你知道買這個娃娃的錢是不夠的。」

Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly.

她要小男孩呆在那裡5分鐘，她一下就回來。她迅速離開了。

The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand.

Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to.

'It ' s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas.

『這是我妹妹的最愛，非常想要的聖誕節娃娃。

She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her. '
她一直認為聖誕老人會帶娃娃來給她的。」
I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry.

But he replied to me sadly. ' No, Santa Claus can ' t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there. '

但他哀傷地回答我『不！聖誕老人不可能將它帶到她現在的地方給她。我必須將娃娃交給我媽，當她去那裡的時候可以給我妹妹。』

His eyes were so sad while saying this. ' My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister. ' '

My heart nearly stopped.
我的心臟幾乎要停止了。

The little boy looked up at me and said: ' I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall. '
小男孩看我說：『我叫爸爸告訴媽媽現在不要走，讓她等我從購物中心回來。』

Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He then told me ' I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won ' t forget me. '
然後他拿出一張他自己非常漂亮的相片給我看。他笑著告訴我『我要媽媽帶著我的相片，這樣她就不會忘記我了。』

'I love my mommy and I wish she didn ' t have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister. '

Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.

然後他安靜地用哀傷的眼睛再看著娃娃。

I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. ' Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll! ' '
我趕緊摸著錢包對小男孩說『我們再檢查一下，說不定您有足夠的錢買玩偶! 』

'OK ' he said, ' I hope I do have enough. ' I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.
『好呀！』他說『我希望有足夠的錢』。沒讓他看見，我塞了一些錢到他的錢包中，我們開始數錢。買娃娃的錢足了，甚之還有剩餘呢。

The little boy said: ' Thank you God for giving me enough money! '
小男孩說：『謝謝上帝給了我足的錢!』

Then he looked at me and added, ' I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me! ' '
然而他看著我補充說『昨晚睡前，我要求上帝讓我的錢能足夠買這個娃娃，因此媽媽能將它帶給我妹妹。祂聽見我了! 』

'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn ' t dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose. ' '

A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.

I finished my shopping in a totally different state of mind from when I started.

Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young
woman and a little girl.

我想起兩天前當地報紙的一篇文章，提及一位醉酒卡車司機，撞上了一輛載著年輕少婦和一個小女孩的汽車。

The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical
state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the
life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma.
小女孩當場死亡，母親呈現彌留狀態。這個家庭必須決定是否要拔出維持生命機器的插管

，因為年輕少婦不可能從昏迷中恢復。

Was this the family of the little boy?

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away.
碰到小男孩的二天之後，我看了報紙年輕少婦過世了。

I couldn ' t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.

我不自主的買了一束白玫瑰，來到喪家，年輕少婦的遺體在她埋葬前讓人瞻仰與最後許願。

She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.
她在那裡，裝在棺木中，在她的手中握著一朵白玫瑰和小男孩的相片，娃娃則放置在她的胸口。

I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed for ever.. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is
still, to this day, hard to imagine.

我離開了這裡，眼淚奪眶而出，覺得我的人生已經永遠改變了。至今，小男孩對他母親和妹妹的愛，仍然難以想像。

And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

就在一轉眼工夫，一位醉酒司機奪去了他的所有。

My Best Mate Is Getting Married

I have a good news to share with all those mates in CDK: My best mate is getting married!! I'm so happy on behalf of her. She's getting married this June the 7th! And, she is none other than Daphne Tan Choo Sean!
We got to know each other since Primary One, which means our friendship has lasted for 20 years! Gosh, it's a long long journey for both of us. We were very close to each other since primary school days. We shared almost everything, from ups to downs. When young, our topics lingered about friends, childhood days and schools. Later, it became crush we had, schools and problems we may encountered. After graduation, it's about working life, love life and so on. And now, it's about marriage. Our topics never ends..
I really feel so happy for her, as finally she met a guy who truly treasures and cherishes her, and is willing to be with her for the rest of her life. Congratulations on her marriage! Wishing you, love, joy and laughter, today and ever after...

Your Personal Details Can Be Bought for Just 10 Sen

I saw this article in The Star today. Gosh, our personal details is so cheap! Unbelievable, less than the amount to buy a cup of coffee.

Well, I have experienced this personally. I have been receiving calls from anonymous parties asking me whether am I interested in the insurance coverage that they are offering for the past two years.

When I first applied for my Citibank credit card two years ago, I was asked to furnish them with a fixed line contact number in case of emergencies. Reluctantly, I gave them my uncle's residence number. We were also asked to give them our work place number as well. Well, they tried to call me and cannot reach me as I switched my mobile number from DiGi to Maxis subsequently. So, they called my office. I was so mad at that point of time as I was so busy with workloads and informed them that I'm not interested in the insurance coverage. They asked for the reasons. I told them, I feel that I'm adequately insured and do not wish to be contacted anymore on this matter. I also asked them the sources of my contacts. They told me it's from Citibank. Few days later, they called my uncle's house looking for me again. Damn it! Is promoting insurance an emergency? I contacted Citibank and informed them that I wished to be removed from their listing and not to be contacted for any promotions. But, again, they tried to call my office. In the end, I went to Citibank personally and cancelled my Citibank credit card. Frankly, it's a nuisance to me for receiving all those calls. Some of the staff have no basic courteousy at all as they kept convincing you despite you told them you're not interested in it at all.

Miraculously, after I cancelled my Citibank credit card, I do not receive those calls anymore..

It's me with Lil Emma

Let me introduce to you, she's my little EmMa. We went to the breeder's house to fetch her last Saturday. She's such a lovely, playful and cute little doggy. She gave my dear nightmare last Saturday night as she's new to the environment and was crying and barking the whole night. Luckily, she can adapt to new environment swiftly and was fine the next day. She has been very playful since then and likes to bite.

10 years in Hotmail

Gosh! I've been using my Hotmail email account for 10 years! When I logged in just now, wanted to update my particulars, suddenly I saw a "10-year Anniversary" stuff next to my particulars. Haha, I've been so loyal to my email account?! It's because this email address is very easy to remember as it resembles my name and my surname. Basically, I'm using this email for MSN purposes only, I still prefer to send and receive emails through Yahoo, as emails often get lost in transit with Hotmail. Maybe they are not insured with Goods-In-Transit insurance..??!!

Watery Fluid from Nose

This morning in the office, while I was bending over . I have clear fluids draining through my nostrils. It fells like as if your nose is bleeding, but it is not blood. I was so worried. Am I going to develop some nose related diseases?

Since young, I was very worried about my nose, as my nose is very sensitive. I love to catch colds easily every morning. I cannot go to school without two packs of pocket tissue in my school bag every morning. I even consulted an ENT specialist before. He said because I'm allergic to the environment around me. So, I have to be very careful when I'm in dusty environment.

The first thing I do tonight upon reaching home is to surf the net to find out more about my nose.

Thank God. It's a normal symptom as I developed Respiratory Tract Infection last week. And I was given Amoxicillin by the doctor. As I understand from the web that the clear fluids serve to drain away the infections from my body. Gosh... Relieved...

Have u guys read a comic by the name of "Emma"? It's a very touching story. Frankly, I do not read comics at all since young. But when my dear suggested that I should try to read this series, I give it a try. Gosh!! My tears roll down my cheeks. It's a great story.

Thus, we decided to name our new-born as "Emma".

I'm Sick

I'm sick.. Firstly, I developed a running nose last Saturday. It's a norm for me to develop running nose in the morning and usually it would subside in the afternoon. But not for this time. So, I went to bed at 8.30pm last Saturday in conjunction with the Earth Hour. Hehe...

On Sunday, it turned to a sore throat. And I drank lots of honey, and miraculously it helps. On Monday, my sore throat is cured. But my running nose further developed into flu. The mucus were so think that I could hardly breathe from my nose most of the time.

Till yesterday, I have sore behind my both ears. So, I went to PAH to see a doctor. Dr Andy Yong diagnosed me of having 'Respiratory Tract Infection'. So. I'm on medical leave for two days. Guess what, this is my first medical leave since I started to work in MR on 17th April 2006. Gosh!!

Medicals are so expensive though in times of recession. I was so sad yesterday having to spend approximately RM180 for my medical bills. Yet, I'm not able to claim the disbursements from anyone, except my FAMA.

May's Birthday

It's May's birthday today. Happy Birthday to May!!

Last Sunday, we had an early birthday celebration with May in Azuma, Queensbay Mall. We enjoyed ourselves very much, having tasted the best Japanese cuisine in town.

The food is quite nice, I like the pizza the most. But, the size of the pizza is slightly smaller than the Pizza Hut's personal pizza. Haha, a bit small though for 8 of us.
Later, we bought a Chocolate Mint from Bread History cake for May. The cake is great, but not to be compared to mille crepe. I like it so much!! I bet you guys should try this one day.

I have a damn busy life lately. Hated those long working hours. Worked till I'm so exhausted. But, thankfully, there are good food around for me to recharge my energy.

Late Saturday, I went to Swensen in Queensbay Mall with Ker Tyng and Louis. At first, I wanted to have Nandos, but Ker Tyng prefers to have anything other than Nandos. So, I gave in.

We ordered broccoli soup, seafood spaghetti, sizzling banana crumble, seafood pizza and a regular Earthquake.

I like the sizzling banana crumble while it's flaming hot. It turns quite sweet when it's cool, and I do not like to take too sweet stuff.

Beng Lay's Birthday

We had a great moment chit-chatting around, having fun and celebrating her birthday this year in the midst of busy and hectic working schedules. It's a great time for all of us. Happy Birthday, girl. May all your dreams that you wished for this would come true...

Stress Day...

It was a stress day for me.. I do not welcome the dawn of tomorrow either. I hated the feelings when you've sacrificed a lot but, your efforts are not being appreciated. I do not expect a "Thank You" being spoken, but at least not a cold shoulder being given.

Lately, I was assigned to a special job. The job is very time-consuming. We've been spending weeks for the field work, yet it has not completed. Besides, we also need to take care of our annual audits. Almost every night, I reached home at about 8++pm and was starving. And, sometimes, we need to bring home some jobs to help reduce the burden of our colleagues who were busy coping with our share of workloads. I was so exhausted every night.

I hated that feelings...

I read something from Gin Hooi's blog and would like to share this small story with you guys.

A young man goes into a pharmacy and asks the pharmacist:

"Hello, could you give me condom. My girlfriend has invited me for dinner and I think she is expecting something from me!"

The pharmacist gives him the condom; and as the young man is going out, he returns and tells him:

"Give me another condom because my girlfriend's sister is very cute too. She always crosses her legs in a provocative manner when she sees me and I think she expects something from me too."

The pharmacist gives him a second condom;

And as the boy is leaving he turns back and says:

"After all, give me one more condom because my girlfriend's mom is still pretty cute and when she sees me she always makes allusions... and since she invited me for dinner, I think she is expecting something from me!!

During dinner, the young man is sitting with his girlfriend on his left, the sister on his right and the mom facing him.

When the dad gets there, the boy lowers his head and starts praying: "Dear Lord, bless this dinner... thank you for all you give us!!!"

A minute later the boy is still praying: "Thank you Lord for your kindness..."

Ten minutes go on and the boy is still praying, keeping his head down.

The others look at each other surprised and his girlfriend even more than the others. She gets close to the boy and tells him in his ear:

"I didn't know you were so religious!!!"

The boy replies :

"I didn't know your dad was a pharmacist!!!" :-)
