We left the Silver Gold Garden Hotel at 4.30am heading to Suvarnabhumi Airport to catch our next flight to Chiangmai. Upon reaching Chiangmai, we were greeted by the local tour guide. He's a mandarin speaking tour guide. We were so relieved seeing him, as most of the people we dealt with since last night cannot speak proper English (not to mentioned those people in the airports) and we were like stuck in the desert.

Later, he brought us for our breakfast as all of us were starving. We took chicken rice in a small shop in Chiangmai. The tour guide kept telling us that, the people in Chiangmai are more friendly, warmer and they are better than those people in Bangkok and Southern Thailand.

After refreshing ourselves in the hotel, we took a scroll down the streets before starting our journey to the Wat Prathat Doi Suthep. It's a temple built on hilltop and you have to climb up about 300 steps before you can reach the temple. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Chiangmai while worshiping the Lord Buddha.

Then, we were transferred to Miao Tribe. They are the minority tribe in Northern Thailand, and make their livings by making handicrafts and produce opium from the Popi plants. Their costumes are nice and beautiful. We rented their costumes and took some pictures together.

At night, we went for Thai massage. Wow, it's so relaxing and comfortable. I slept while being massaged. And it's very cheap, costs about RM 40 for a two-hour massage, and it's a whole body massage.
